Saddle fitting

First thing to do on arrival is to check the soundness of the saddle, No broken tree or poorly flocked (stuffed) panel.

Next is to see the saddle on the horse, preferably with a rider on it.

Based on my what I see and feel I adjust the flocking in the panel.

Recheck the fit after the adjustments and make further adjustment if required.

If all is well and the customer happy I get paid and make arrangements for a recheck and possible refit sometime in the future; a few months to a year depending on potential need.

Much is said about saddle fitting, some good, some bad and some is just ridiculous! Fitting a saddle is more about skill and experience than science, fortunately I have all three assets.

NO CALL-OUT CHARGE

YOU WOULDN’T ASK A CAR SALESMAN TO CHECK YOUR CAR , HE MIGHT TRY TO SELL
YOU A NEW ONE! SO WHY ASK SOMEONE WHO SELLS SADDLES TO CHECK YOUR
SADDLE ? BETTER TO ASK A REAL SADDLER
